Artist's Introduction: Down by the Creek

I just love painting paintings of French Creek, especially this one. Of all of the paintings I have painted through the years, this was the most fun to create. I particularly loved the challenge of all of the different things to paint, the trees with their roots exposed, the rocky bank, the leaves on the ground, the water, and much, much more. This is by far my favorite piece.
