Artist's Introduction: A Summer Storm

One summer afternoon I quickly grabbed my camera and took off for the dirt road, next to our house. I could see thick dark clouds in the distance and just wanted to catch them on film. The sky was just beautiful, with the dark clouds of a summer afternoon storm. I later painted this from the picture I took that afternoon.
