Artist's Introduction: The Colors of Fall

I was out taking pictures for future reference one fall afternoon near sundown. While standing in the shade of the trees I could see the electrifying colors of this fall seen. It was one of those moments that you wish could last forever. Feeling the mood of the moment, I was inspired to paint this picture.
